Action plan
Establishing an inclusive culture is a long-term endeavour. And it is the array of local initiatives that is bringing about deep-reaching transformation in our culture.
We have three central pillars, but they can vary and we may round them out to address the local issues each company is facing.
Empower all talents to grow. Encourage and support gender diversity in management and gender equality across the board. Our goal is to increase the percentage of women in management positions at VINCI Construction to 30%.
We train, work with and recruit people on the outer fringes of the job market. We open doors back into jobs for the long-term unemployed by providing targeted training and individual support.
We work alongside and hold on to employees who are living with disabilities, ill or caring for family. We offer the support they need to navigate their difficult circumstances and to feel well at work.
Civic engagement
Wherever we operate, we work on community outreach projects to engage with the people living in the area.
We take nearby residents on tours around our worksites, take in young people from disadvantaged areas or secluded rural areas, and help to integrate the long-term unemployed and other people living in the area.
VINCI Construction employees are also welcome to sponsor local charities through VINCI’s corporate foundations. Our employees’ work alongside people facing difficult circumstances helps to nurture an inclusive culture within the company.
